Great service this morning from my initial call to book an appointment, I was directed to get a Covid Test and the surgery rescheduled my appointment for the result to be confirmed. Doctor was spot on, antibiotics and advice given and the complete surgery worked as a professional team. One happy patient. Thank you.

Absolutely appalling service and care given to my elderly 86 yr old mother, who was denied care and told to go to Stafford to be seen , she has no way of getting there , cannot drive and is recently widowed , no empathy shown , rude receptionist, wouldn't even change her dressing , long term expecting an elderly lady especially with winter coming to make her own way to Stafford is disgusting when she should be able to get treatment and care from her own medical provider . This practice needs to be investigated into their ill treatment of patients.

Have been a client of Hazeldene House Surgery for years now. Recently required assistance to get a prescription signed by a doctor before going on holiday. Couldn't fault the service provided by the internal pharmacy and the staff at reception. All very pleasant and effective. No fuss and had a signed prescription within the hour. Well impressed at the service. Thank you to all at Hazeldene House Surgery.

Amazing service once again.. .
I Don't use on a regular basis but, definitely there when needed, cannot fault the service at all.
Seen on same day and referral done with an appointment booked within 48hours, well done Hazeldene. Thankyou.

I always find the G.P's and Nurses friendly and helpful. I get texts to remind me of appointments or, the need to make one. I'm extremely grateful to Dr.Simon for his recent diagnosis of Angina, simply with a phone consultation. I'm now being monitored for the condition and feel reassured that I have a great team looking after me

This doctors used to be great years ago.horrendous now!! Impossible to get an appointment, ring at 8! 17th in the line when you get through all appointments have gone.
Advised to ring next day for emergency or Friday for other pre booked appointments.
Rang this morning, again 10th in line and when they answered all appointments are gone!!! What do you do 🤷♀️ this surgery causes me so much stress when I need to book appointments. No empathy from receptionist, just a no and that’s it. If I could move I would but there’s no other options.

Why have Patient access when you cannot do anything but order a repeat prescription. Having had my medication changed by a doctor between ordering and collecting a repeat prescription the changed medication is missing from my order. I am currently on hold having rang 25 minutes ago and have moved an astonishing 4th to 2nd place in the queue.

We have been patients here for over 18 years, and are so grateful for all the continuing care and swift response to our health issues. This is a lovely surgery with a caring team who work tirelessly. Reception staff are all efficient in dealing with appointment requests, prescriptions etc; the pharmacy on site is excellent. All the doctors at the practice are dedicated to their profession, and do their utmost to diagnose and refer swiftly when needed. There have been some staff changes over the years with retirements etc, but the values of kindness and caring have never been compromised.
Given the current difficulties that the NHS has with an ever growing population, and elderly demographic, Hazeldene House Surgery is meeting the needs of these groups very well- given our experiences and observations. We have a real sense of being valued, and most importantly being listened to. All the staff show empathy and compassion to us, and we feel 'safe' here using the service.
The Patient Access account is really helpful to accessing notes and documents, and order repeat prescriptions too.
Thank you to all the team at Hazeldene House Surgery.

Have recently moved into the area and signed up with this practice during the seven months here I have tried to contact the surgery by telephone on a number of occasions and to date have never once got through, which I find extremley worrying. I called again today only to get the std voice recording yet again telling me i was number four in the que, 35 minutes later i gave up, I find this so not acceptable, what would happen if it was an emergency, i dread to think.

An absolute nightmare to deal with. You get one way communications that are frankly awful, with no way to respond or query. When you need to book an appointment it is almost impossible. Routine appointments being the worst, wherein you can only book them on a Wednesday and Friday (for some random unknown reason), but there will be no appointments available. I feel for the receptionists who have to deal with really frustrated callers all because the appointments system is an utter joke. It is a terrible experience.
